Each atmosphere is supervised daily by a French Montessori educator and an English Montessori educator, as well as an assistant. The daycare is run by our Spanish animator who also provides the reception on Wednesday mornings. The administration is co-managed by the founders of the school.
Laetitia, co-founder, Montessori educator 6-12 years old, and Director of the school

After a degree in computer engineering and 8 years of experience in the field of computer development and project management, I decided to change my life. The birth of my children in 2014 and 2017 directed me to the world of education and early childhood, a field that had already attracted me since the baccalaureate.
Following my training as a Montessori educator (3-6 years old), I chose to found a school based on Montessori pedagogy, benevolence and respect for everyone. With the support of my husband, and after several years of hard work, the Montessori school Les Graines du Bonheur was born! I then followed 2 Montessori training courses 6-12 years old including that of Montessori Resources with Marie-Hélène Barbier as well as a Class 6-12 Management training with Eduscopie.
My goal is to accompany the children attending Les Graines du Bonheur school towards autonomy and to give them or give them back the desire to learn, whether they discover or rediscover the enthusiasm of childhood, and especially that they are happy.
Kindness, NVC (non-violent communication) and respect are the pillars that help me every day to accompany children and families on the path to happiness.
Eric, the henchman, co-founder of the school

Computer engineer for more than 10 years, despite a totally atypical school career, I was convinced even before the birth of my first son that I had to question all my achievements, education, instruction, schooling. With my wife, Laetitia, we discovered benevolence and Montessori pedagogy as a logical continuation of our questioning. We have worked for 4 years to open this school to be able to give the chance to our children, but also to all the children who will come to our school, to benefit from an instruction respectful of the rhythm of the child.
In the school, I am the henchman so to speak. I make the furniture, I do the work, the repairs and I regularly come to play music to the children after the meal. I also assist Laetitia on the administrative.
Sonja, Montessori Educator 6-12 years old English speaker

My name is Sonja and originally I come from the Netherlands. For three and a half years I have lived in France in a small village called Marseillan. I am married to a Frenchman. I have two daughters, 26 and 23 years old who live in Amsterdam.
In the Netherlands I was educated as a social worker and primary school teacher. As a social worker I worked with handicapped people. As a teacher I worked with children with special needs (autism, hyperactivity etc). I discovered Montessori pedagogy for 6-12 year olds in training with Marie-Hélène Barbier from Ressources Montessori.
For me, education is the key for a future with opportunities. Autonomy, competence and relationship form the basis for good and safe education. A child who is happy at school is able to learn and that's my goal !
I am very pleased that I am gonna work at "Les graines du bonheur". Montessori education offers the opportunity to challenge children in any learning area you can imagine. I teach in English and there will be a lot of creative activities! I understand and do speak French as well, also German and of course Dutch which is my mother language. Besides my work I like to read, to travel, doing yoga, singing in a choir or joining a batucada group and doing renovations in my house !

Sophie, English Montessori educator 3-6 years old

Once I got my English-Spanish translator's diploma in hand, I left Belgium to live in Madrid. I worked there for five years for an American multinational company. I then moved to Montpellier, after 7 years of a depressing job, I decided to teach languages.
Mother of two children, I am interested in Montessori pedagogy, with respect for children and their rhythm of development. After a few services at "Les grains du bonheur" school, I trained as an educator and specialized in teaching English as a foreign language.
I was fortunate to have very good, passionate and enthusiastic teachers who managed to awaken a love of languages and the desire to open up to the world while letting me experiment with their respective languages. I hope to be able to accompany the children in the same good-natured and kind spirit.

Eve-Lys, Francophone Montessori educator 3-6 years old

In 2018 my daughter was born. Thanks to this wonderful change in my life, I became interested in positive parenting, NVC and of course alternative education. The discovery of affective and social neuroscience allowed me to confirm that we adults had a key role in supporting the child.
Holder of a BAFA and a Professional Master in Artistic Practices and Social Action whose title of my thesis is: "How does the alliance of imagination and improvisation give children the opportunity to enter into movement in contemporary dance and promote their personal development?", I deepened my experience in early childhood with a CAP Early Childhood Educational Accompaniment. It was during my CAP internship that I discovered "The Seeds of Happiness" and Montessori pedagogy. This discovery led me to the training of Montessori Educator 3-6 years old with the training center "Le Chemin de l'Enfant" by Valérie MAESTRE.
My wish is to be able to accompany children in their cognitive, social, emotional, linguistic, sensory and motor learning according to their respective needs and in a calm, serene and fulfilling environment.
Laura, Early Childhood Assistant

After studying and a career in aesthetics, I decided to change paths to work with children.
I discovered "The seeds of happiness" during my very first two-month internship as part of my training for the CAP Accompagnement en Petite Enfance.
Within the team, I work as an early childhood assistant. My role at the school is to assist Montessori educators in the 3-6 year old atmosphere, to ensure that a serene atmosphere is maintained for all and to ensure the specific accompaniment of the youngest (diaper changes, accompaniment to hygiene, meals and naps).
Iris, Spanish-speaking animator

After starting at the Montessori school Les Graines du Bonheur as a Spanish speaker last year, I joined the team this year as a Spanish animator.
I offer each atmosphere a Spanish workshop every week. I also assist the educators in their atmospheres in my language, and I animate the daycares and evening workshops in Spanish.
I also offer every Wednesday morning a fun welcome to learn Spanish for children from 3 to 9 years old.
Lisa, school holiday facilitator

Currently a student in the 3rd year of training as an Early Childhood Educator, after a one-year internship at the Montessori school Les Graines du Bonheur, from November 2021 to September 2022, in the atmosphere of 6-12 years, I will offer this year on school holiday periods fun courses for children from 3 to 9 years old.
